Madness will headline St Lawrence Ground, Kent Cricket on Sunday 9 August, for a major outdoor summer show in Canterbury.
Formed in Camden in 1976, Madness became a cornerstone of the two-tone ska movement, known for their sharp style and instantly recognisable sound. Their run of 15 UK Top 10 singles – including One Step Beyond, Baggy Trousers, It Must Be Love and House of Fun – has made them one of Britain’s most enduring bands. Their Canterbury headline set will be built around the timeless tracks fans know and love.
Joining them are special guests Cast, bringing 90s favourites such as Walkaway, Alright and Finetime, alongside The Beat ft. Ranking Jr, who will deliver a set packed with ska classics and upbeat rhythms. Also on the bill are The Ordinary Boys, best known for tracks including Boys Will Be Boys, Talk Talk Talk and Nine2Five, as well as rising south coast trio ffogg and The Now, making this a full day of live music from doors through to the headline performance.
